We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer with expertise in Microsoft Fabric or Azure Data Factory (ADF) to design, develop, and maintain robust data integration solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong skills in extracting, transforming, and loading data from various sources into Microsoft Fabric environments, ensuring data accuracy, performance, and scalability. This role requires a deep understanding of modern data architecture, cloud-based data services, and best practices for data governance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement ETL processes using Microsoft Fabric tools and  services.
  • Integrate  data from multiple sources (structured, semi-structured, and unstructured)  into centralized data models.
  • Collaborate  with data architects, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand  data requirements and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Optimize  ETL workflows for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve ETL process issues in a timely manner.
  • Maintain  documentation for ETL processes, data mappings, and workflows.
  • Stay  current with Microsoft Fabric updates, features, and best practices.
  • Support data analytics and reporting teams by providing clean, well-structured datasets.

Requirements

  

  • Bachelor’s  degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, or  related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Proven  experience as an ETL Developer, Data Engineer, or similar role.
  • Hands-on  experience with Microsoft Fabric and related services (e.g., Data Factory, Synapse, Power BI integration).
  • Strong  proficiency in SQL and data transformation techniques.
  • Experience with cloud-based data platforms (Azure preferred).
  • Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing concepts, and dimensional modeling.
  • Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance best practices.
  • Strong  problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent  communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.
  • Understanding of big data technologies and distributed computing.
  • Knowledge  of API integration and real-time data streaming.
  • Familiarity  with DevOps practices and version control (e.g., Git).
