Have you ever imagined working at a zoo or public garden? Here is your opportunity. The Akron Zoo is seeking energetic individuals to join our team as Seasonal Groundskeepers.

Seasonal Groundskeepers support the Horticulture team in maintaining the beauty of our grounds through litter removal, weeding, watering, and pruning. Previous landscaping experience is preferred but not required. Candidates should be comfortable walking for extended periods, pushing or carrying heavy items such as wheelbarrows, bending or kneeling frequently, and navigating uneven terrain safely. This position is fully outdoors and requires working in a variety of weather conditions. Training is provided.

This role is scheduled five days per week, either Sunday through Thursday or Tuesday through Saturday, from 6:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
