About the Role
The Director, Demand Generation is responsible for Veryon’s demand generation engine to drive predictable qualified lead volume, pipeline growth and revenue impact. Reporting to the VP, Marketing, this role partners closely with Sales, Product Marketing, and Marketing Operations to design and execute integrated demand generation strategies across inbound, outbound, and account-based marketing programs.
This role requires a strategic, data-driven marketing leader who can diagnose performance gaps, optimize marketing channels, and execute innovative campaigns in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical thinking with hands-on execution and thrives in entrepreneurial cultures focused on measurable business outcomes.
What You’ll Do
Lead Quarterly Integrated Campaign Planning
- Develop and own quarterly, multi-channel campaign plans aligned to company growth objectives and bookings priorities
- Design integrated campaigns across email, paid media, webinars, events, content syndication, social, and outbound programs
- Ensure campaign messaging, timing, and targeting align with product priorities and revenue goals
Own Pipeline Creation & Acceleration
- Build and evolve a scalable demand generation engine that creates consistent and predictable qualified pipeline for Sales
- Partner with Sales leadership to align campaign efforts to enterprise, mid-market, and expansion priorities
- Establish strong feedback loops between Sales and Marketing to improve pipeline creation, conversion, and acceleration
Manage and Develop the Demand Team
- Directly manage Campaign Manager(s) and the Events lead
- Drive accountability for campaign execution, timeline adherence, and performance outcomes
- Build campaign playbooks and scalable frameworks for repeatable success
Optimize Performance and Channel Mix
- Evaluate current marketing performance and present insights on channel effectiveness and optimization strategies
- Analyze campaign performance, generate insights, and implement data-driven optimizations
- Define demand generation KPIs and partner with Marketing Operations to ensure clear reporting and dashboard visibility
Leverage AI to Improve Marketing Performance
- Actively incorporate AI tools and automation into campaign creation, segmentation, personalization, and performance optimization
- Identify opportunities to use AI to improve targeting, speed to execution, and ROI
Support ABM and Enterprise Growth
- Build and refine account-based marketing (ABM) strategies to support enterprise acquisition and expansion
- Ensure campaign efforts align to high-value account strategies
- Extensive experience in demand generation or B2B marketing within fast-paced, high-growth environments
- Proven experience building and scaling demand generation programs that drive measurable pipeline and revenue impact
- Demonstrated experience managing campaign teams and event-driven demand programs
- Strong data-driven mindset with experience defining KPIs, analyzing performance metrics, and optimizing campaigns
- Experience partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Product Marketing, and Customer Success teams
- Experience designing and executing quarterly integrated campaign plans
- Demonstrated ability to diagnose marketing gaps and implement strategic improvement plans
- Experience managing multi-channel marketing programs across inbound and outbound strategies
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment
- Hands-on experience working with marketing technology platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar systems
- Experience leveraging AI tools within marketing workflows
- Ability to operate effectively in entrepreneurial and evolving organizational environments
- Strong communication and presentation skills with executive-level stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience designing and executing Account-Based Marketing (ABM) programs
- Background in B2B SaaS or vertically focused software organizations
- Familiarity with marketing tools such as HubSpot, Monday.com, Gong, Reachdesk, and Salesforce
- Experience building marketing reporting frameworks and dashboards
- Strong understanding of full-funnel marketing strategy and buyer journey optimization
- Experience working in growth-stage companies with aggressive scaling goals
