MBL Technologies is seeking a Privacy Consultant who will play a key role in supporting the organization’s privacy program by contributing to breach response activities, conducting privacy impact assessments, developing training materials, and providing day-to-day guidance to business stakeholders. This role is ideal for someone who is detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to grow their expertise in privacy operations and compliance.


Working closely with senior privacy leaders, the consultant will help monitor program delivery, prepare reporting and dashboards, and develop presentations and materials for internal and external meetings. The ideal candidate brings strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive mindset toward problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.


Key Responsibilities: 

  • Assist in the execution of privacy impact assessments (PIAs), data protection assessments, and related reviews to identify risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
  • Provide privacy guidance to internal stakeholders on data handling practices, policy interpretation, and compliance requirements.
  • Support the development, maintenance, and delivery of privacy training and awareness materials.
  • Contribute to the creation and refinement of privacy policies, standards, and procedures.
  • Support the intake, triage, and documentation of privacy incidents and potential data breaches.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to gather facts, assess risk, and support response activities.
  • Assist in preparing incident summaries, regulatory notifications, and post-incident reporting.
  • Partner with program leads to track progress against privacy program objectives and deliverables.
  • Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports, dashboards, and metrics to support leadership visibility and decision-making.
  • Develop high-quality presentations, briefing materials, and meeting documentation for internal and client-facing engagements.
  • Monitor action items, follow-ups, and timelines to ensure consistent and timely delivery.
  • Build strong working relationships with business units, IT, security, legal, and other partners to support privacy-by-design practices.
  • Participate in meetings, workshops, and training sessions as a privacy representative.
  • Communicate complex privacy concepts in a clear, approachable, and business-friendly manner.

Required Experience & Skills:   

  • 4 years' experience leading privacy or information assurance and compliance initiatives or projects.
  • BS/BA degree (required)
  • Foundational understanding of privacy principles, regulatory frameworks, and data protection best practices.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clear and compelling materials.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Public Trust Clearance or the ability to obtain a clearance
