PCG Consulting Group is a leading minority-owned consulting firm headquartered in Chicago, IL. We partner with Deloitte and public-sector clients to deliver hands-on support across complex government healthcare environments.


We are currently seeking a We are seeking a Salesforce Functional Consultant to support a major HR transformation initiative within a large public healthcare system. This role will help design and implement enhancements to HR ServiceLink built on Salesforce Service Cloud, improving how employees access HR services and support.


You will work closely with HR leaders, Salesforce administrators, and consulting delivery teams to translate HR service delivery needs into scalable Salesforce solutions.


This is a hands-on consulting role focused on process design, stakeholder collaboration, and Salesforce solution implementation—not a strategy-only position.


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with HR leadership and consulting teams to analyze, redesign, and optimize HR service workflows
  • Translate HR operational requirements into Salesforce Service Cloud functionality
  • Define and implement HR case types, subtypes, routing rules, and service workflows
  • Facilitate current-state and future-state process design workshops
  • Collaborate with Salesforce administrators to ensure configuration aligns with functional requirements
  • Support the design and documentation of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) tied to Salesforce processes
  • Ensure HR ServiceLink enhancements support case management, service routing, and employee support workflows
  • Contribute to HR process automation initiatives within Salesforce
  • Ensure solutions are scalable, compliant, and aligned with enterprise delivery standards

You are a hands-on Salesforce consultant who enjoys working directly with stakeholders and building practical solutions.

  • Translate operational HR needs into Salesforce workflows
  • Collaborate closely with administrators and delivery teams
  • Ensure solutions are practical, scalable, and ready for implementation

Location: Remote (U.S.)
Contract: 20+ week engagement with potential extension
Industry: Public Healthcare / Government Health System
Client Environment: Large enterprise consulting-led transformation 

Requirements

 Required Experience

  • 5+ years of Salesforce Service Cloud consulting or functional experience
  • Hands-on experience implementing or supporting Salesforce case management solutions
  • Strong experience with:
  • Process mapping and workflow design
  • Salesforce case management and service workflows
  • Stakeholder facilitation and requirements gathering
  • Ability to translate business requirements into clear Salesforce functional specifications
  • Experience working within consulting-led delivery or enterprise transformation environments

Preferred Experience

  • Experience supporting HR service delivery platforms or HR shared services
  • Background working with public sector or healthcare organizations
  • Experience creating SOPs or operational documentation tied to system workflows
  • Familiarity with HR technology ecosystems and HR service management tools
Salary Description
70-85 per hour
