ORGANIZATIONAL OVERVIEW
Created and supported by the Helen Diller Family Foundation, the organization encompasses two programs:
- Diller Teen Fellows, a premier identity-building and leadership development program for Jewish teens established in 1998. The program provides a cutting-edge model for experiencing Jewish pluralism and peoplehood, with 32 participating communities in seven countries and a network of more than 8,500 alumni leaders.
- Diller Teen Tikkun Olam Awards annually recognizes and awards up to 15 exceptional Jewish teens from across the United States, honoring their leadership of initiatives that make the world a better place. Recipients are awarded $36,000 each to support their education or to further their social impact.
ROLE SUMMARY
The Senior Specialist, Technical Solutions will lead the efficiency of technology usage for Diller Teen Fellows and the Diller Teen Tikkun Olam Awards. This position is the central hub for Diller’s digital ecosystem, ensuring that our multi-national team—spanning Noth America and Israel—has the tools and data visibility needed to drive impact. This role will provide a blend of hands-on Salesforce administration, website management, and cross-organizational technical liaison services, working alongside IT teams from our partner organizations (Jewish Federation Bay Area and JFNA in Israel).
This is fully remote role reporting to Chief of Staff with additional supervision and collaboration with Managing Director, Diller Teen Tikkun Olam Awards and Associate Director, Education Systems, Diller Teen Fellows.
This is a new role and a unique opportunity to "own" the technology stack of an impactful global organization.
Strong preference for candidates residing in Eastern time zone due to team members’ locations.
Candidates must reside in one of the following states: Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, North Carolina, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, Tennessee, Utah and Washington (state).
ESENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Salesforce Administration & Data Integrity
- System Maintenance: Act as the primary administrator for Salesforce, managing user profiles, permission sets, and security settings to ensure data privacy across global regions.
- Data Governance: Execute regular data audits and "cleanup" sprints to maintain a high standard of data hygiene.
- Reporting & Analytics: Build and maintain sophisticated dashboards and custom reports that track program recruitment, alumni engagement, and award applications.
- Advanced Tooling: Manage integrations and specific packages, including Enrollment RX for applications and Pardot for automated marketing/email campaigns.
Digital Ecosystem & Platform Management
- SaaS Orchestration: Serve as the internal Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Google Workspace, Monday.com, and Formstack, optimizing workflows to reduce manual data entry.
- Web Management: Manage the front-end of our WordPress-based websites; this includes updating seasonal content, ensuring plugin stability, and managing SEO metadata. · Technical Roadmap: Proactively research and propose new software solutions or automations that solve recurring "pain points" for the program teams.
Strategic Support & Liaison Services
- IT Bridge: Act as the technical translator between our internal staff and the host IT departments (JFBA/JFNA).
- End-User Training: Develop and lead "Lunch & Learn" sessions or create simple "How-To" documentation to empower staff to use internal tools more effectively.
- Global Collaboration: Support a workforce operating across multiple time zones, ensuring technical processes are inclusive of both U.S. and Israeli operational needs.
QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES)
- Work experience with Enrollment RX and Pardot preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
- At least 1 year of experience working with content management systems such as WordPress
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
- Ability to help identity and manage outside contractors as needed
- English fluency required; knowledge of Hebrew is a plus

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience supporting Salesforce (basic administration, reports, permissions)
ADDITIONAL ORGANIZATIONAL INFORMATION: Heler Diller Family Foundation Programs are housed within The Jewish Federation Bay Area (the Federation). Staff members are employed by the Federation, though many work remotely in other communities.
