Data Scientist
Location: Lincoln West Mall
Position Type: Full-Time Exempt
Compensation: $95,160 - $119,080 (DOE)

You will be the architect of analytical innovation, leading end-to-end solutions that optimize revenue, deepen guest engagement, and drive operational excellence.
This role is perfect for a quantitative leader who is equal parts strategist, technical expert, and collaborative partner. You will take ownership of the entire analytics ecosystem—from building forecasting and propensity models to designing production-ready data pipelines and dashboards—always acting with our 'End of the Line' philosophy to ensure your insights lead directly to tangible business outcomes.

Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end analytics projects, from gathering business requirements and designing datasets to developing models and supporting deployment and monitoring.
- Build and maintain forecasting, segmentation, and propensity models to support revenue management, marketing performance, pricing, occupancy, and customer engagement.
- Create reusable, production-ready analytics assets, including SQL queries, data pipelines, and model artifacts.
- Partner with IT, data engineers, and business stakeholders to architect solutions, optimize data flows, and ensure data quality in production environments.
- Author and optimize complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and ETL logic to support BI tools and reporting needs.
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and visualizations in Tableau to drive KPI awareness and support decision-making.
- Produce clear reports and presentations that translate complex analyses into actionable recommendations for managers and executives.
- Write test plans and thorough documentation for analytical code, models, and processes; participate in code reviews and adhere to change-control practices.
- Provide responsive, high-quality internal customer service by promptly addressing stakeholder requests and following through on open issues.

- Support sustainability, philanthropy, and community initiatives as part of the company’s commitment to creating a positive impact.
- A Master’s degree in a quantitative or business discipline (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science), OR 3+ years of experience delivering enterprise analytics solutions.
- Proven experience leading end-to-end analytics projects, including gathering business requirements, designing analytical datasets, developing models, and supporting deployment.
- Strong proficiency in SQL for querying, data manipulation, and supporting BI environments.
- Experience developing and maintaining predictive models such as forecasting, segmentation, and propensity models.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical and executive audiences.
- Strong analytical reasoning and attention to detail, with the ability to define problems, analyze data, and draw valid conclusions.
- Demonstrated ability to translate business questions into analytical solutions, dashboards, and actionable insights.
- Proven ability to work cross-functionally with IT, data engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions.
- Proficiency with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau) to communicate insights clearly.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives while exercising sound independent judgment on technical and business trade-offs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with MSSQL Server, SSIS/SSRS, and programming for data analysis in Python or R.
- Experience authoring dashboards in Tableau and supporting Tableau Server administration.
- Experience working with CRM or reservation systems and integrating multi-source data for enterprise reporting.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, source control (e.g., Git), and model deployment best practices.
- Experience delivering analytics solutions across functions such as marketing, finance, sales, and operations.
