The Stroum Jewish Community Center (SJCC) is seeking an energetic, service-oriented Fitness Manager to lead the daily operations of our Fitness Center and sports facilities. This role oversees the weight and cardio floor, gymnasium, racquetball court, boxing room, and dedicated stretching and spin studio, as well as SJCC’s personal training program and adult and youth recreational sports leagues.
The Fitness Manager plays a central role in creating a welcoming, safe, and engaging fitness environment while developing programs that promote health, connection, and community.
As a community center, SJCC is not simply trying to replicate the experience of a large commercial gym. We value personal relationships, thoughtful programming, and outstanding member experiences that make people feel welcomed, supported, and excited to return.
This position requires a hands-on leader who is passionate about fitness, committed to excellent customer service, and comfortable working with members of all ages—from young children to active older adults.
This is a full-time, in-person role that includes some evening and weekend hours.
Compensation for the position is $70,000 to $85,000 annually
