The Purchasing and Logistics Coordinator ensures the efficient management of tools, equipment, and inventory to support station operations.
This role involves overseeing the storage and maintenance of facilities, managing logistics, and ensuring compliance with regulations, while contributing to performance improvements and maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities and Mapped Competencies:
Procurement and Inventory Management:

- Manage spare parts, tools, and equipment to ensure availability and serviceability for operational needs.
- Conduct inward goods procedures and receive goods in compliance with EASA regulations.
- Maintain the database to provide real-time inventory status and enable effective reporting.
- Plan and manage the purchasing, maintenance, and calibration of tools and equipment, including work clothing and materials.
Logistics and Facility Coordination:

- Coordinate loading and unloading of vehicles and manage on-site transport movements.
- Book trucks for logistics and arrange loading/unloading of spare parts and other items.
- Ensure cost-effective mechanical and electrical maintenance aligned with program commitments.
- Oversee parking, goods in/out, and delivery of post and parcels to maintain smooth station operations.
Safety and Compliance:

- Conduct job safety analysis and risk assessments for staffing positions, workbenches, FLTs, and tools.
- Ensure all station servicing activities meet Unilode’s and statutory safety requirements.
- Maintain a safe working environment for staff and visitors, adhering to all health and safety standards.

- Act as a facilitator for the needs of colleagues, providing tools, equipment, and facility maintenance support.
- Serve as a backup for the Station Supervisor and Station Manager when required.
- Coordinate teams to achieve operational goals and ensure seamless station operations.

- Contribute to performance improvement targets through effective spare parts and inventory management.
- Verify and maintain all required purchasing documents to uphold the integrity of company purchases.
