About the role:

We are currently seeking an Investor Relations Manager to play a crucial role in fostering and sustaining robust connections between the company and its investors, analysts, and financial stakeholders. This position requires clear and effective communication with partners and investors regarding the company's financial performance, strategy, and future outlook. By ensuring transparency and building trust, the Manager helps strengthen the relationship between Lafayette Federal Credit Union's internal departments and the investor/partner community.

Requirements

A day in the life of an Investor Relations Manager:

  • Investor Meetings: Supervise and oversee Analyst performance in planning and organizing quarterly meetings with Investors to discuss the partner’s portfolio performance and address any investor complaints or manager escalated inquiries.
  • Preparing Analytical Reports for PVP: Collaborate with teams from finance, accounting, risk, and vendor management, default prevention, and asset recovery, as well as third-party attorneys and collection agencies, to develop comprehensive reports, presentations, and various materials for investor and departmental meetings.  Additionally, regularly review and monitor Analyst performance on portfolio forecasts, Investor Decision forms, and the Analyst Data Spreadsheet to ensure accuracy and effectiveness. 
  • Responding to Inquiries: Address escalated inquiries from investors, analysts, and other stakeholders (LFCU internal departments) in a timely and accurate manner, providing relevant information and insights. Provide a written response to PVP weekly on all urgent and escalated inquiries.
  • Staying Informed: Maintain and manage all Investor Relations systems and tools, including nCino, Keystone, Deskpro, Meridian Link, TLO, Pacers, Freddie Mac, FICS, Application Xtender, ShareFile, SharePoint, Avid Xchange, Allregs, etc. Manage all department subscriptions annually. Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
  • Relationship Management: To foster and sustain strong connections with current investors, analysts, and management, it is essential to establish a framework for engagement. Implementing quarterly in-person meetings with investors and stakeholders will facilitate the sharing of departmental insights and set clear expectations for delivering outstanding service from Lafayette Federal Credit Union.
  • Market Intelligence: Gather and analyze market intelligence to provide insights into investor sentiment, expectations, and concerns.
  • Regulatory Compliance: It is essential to comply with all regulatory requirements for partner and investor agreements and for communications with investors. Ensuring that all team members are knowledgeable and trained in the nGage Compliance system is crucial for maintaining compliance standards. Additionally, it is important to complete all Annual Audit requests and requirements by the established deadlines. Furthermore, all annual certifications must be fulfilled for each partner and investor to ensure full compliance.
  • Departmental Meetings: Coordinate and facilitate departmental meetings, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements to discuss performance, investor inquiries, trends, and make recommendations accordingly. Manage and document all new projects, working with PMO and stakeholders.
  • Crisis Communication: Work closely with the PVP to develop and implement crisis communication strategies in response to unexpected events that affect the company's image or financial standing, and to address investor inquiries.


Qualifications:

  • Three years to five years of similar or related experience.
  • A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.

Pay: $78,245 to $85,000 annually depending on experience and qualifications.
