Description
The Inside Sales Representative will create, coordinate, and manage quotes within the region assigned and work with, but not limited to, regional sales managers, customer service reps, engineers, product managers, application designers, and purchasing. The Inside Sales Representative will work with architects, lighting designers, electrical distributors, rep agencies, and end users to provide customer and product support.

Pay Rate: $65,000.00 to $75,000.00 Yearly
Responsibilities
- Generate quotes for standard and custom lighting products, as well as coordinate samples.
- Work with the application design team to ensure timely completion of the design and delivery of quotes.
- Provide product pricing and availability information via phone and email.
- Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the functions, features, and benefits of the company’s product offering.
- Assists Sales with quotations and project management in an effort to reduce response time and increase sales.
- Analyze drawings and documentation in order to determine proper system functionality and the associated costs.
- Create product cross-over quotes.
- Manage and coordinate multiple projects at any given time.
- Maintain effective relationships with Outside Sales, Customer Service, Purchasing, and Engineering in order to streamline the quoting process.
- Assist PureEdge Rep Agencies and Regional Sales Managers find solutions and drive the specification of PureEdge products.
- Serve as a knowledgeable resource to assist with product specification and substitution.
- Help provide resolution to any problems that may arise during the completion of transactions.
- Provide a detailed review of quotes, documents, and purchase orders to ensure accurate and precise ordering of lighting products.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of experience in quoting and/or sales estimation is a must.
- Lighting or manufacturing industry experience preferred.
- Knowledge or experience with Salesforce or other CRM software is a plus.
- Knowledge or experience reading blueprints and construction drawings is preferred.
- Must be detailed oriented and have excellent time management skills.
- Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be proficient in MS Office.
- Must be knowledgeable in Excel.
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
