Position Summary:
The Manager, Member Engagement, Decorative Brands is responsible for managing member relations, performance, and growth within Decorative Brands. This role serves as the primary member relations resource for the division, focusing on member adoption of AD Supplier Partners, successful onboarding of new members, and supporting divisional executives in managing the division’s network infrastructure.
The Manager acts as a member advocate, developing and maintaining strong relationships with members, driving engagement with AD programs, and implementing processes and metrics that enhance reach and effectiveness through technology and structured communication. Business development is also a key component, including recruiting new members and supporting existing members in maximizing purchases with AD Supplier Partners.
Primary Responsibilities (AD Members)
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned members within Decorative Brands, managing relationships and supplier partner engagement.
- Drive growth through Conversion Campaign opportunities and promote Decorative Brands among members.
- Increase Member Participation Rates by implementing programs that encourage maximum engagement and earnings with preferred suppliers.
- Collect and analyze member feedback to identify concerns and opportunities, ensuring timely internal responses and corrective actions.
- Train new and existing members on AD programs, benefits, and systems.
- Oversee member compliance with participation requirements.
- Conduct AD business reviews via technology platforms and structured cadences.
- Hold in-person business reviews with key members representing significant divisional spend or influence.
- Manage member scorecard and compliance processes.
- Leverage Salesforce as a CRM tool to monitor and analyze data trends, anticipate challenges, and drive growth.
- Support members in embedding AD into their company culture through market planning and field engagement.
- Facilitate member-supplier connections, assist in conflict resolution, and identify partnership opportunities.
- Evaluate and enhance existing member programs and initiatives for continued success.
- Collaborate with product committees to recommend product strategies for the division.
- Annual Meeting. Assist in building agenda and collaborate with meetings team on all aspects of the meeting including special events, training sessions and F&B selections. Aggregate feedback from the post meeting surveys of members and suppliers and develop action plans for continuous improvement.
- Divisional board meeting responsibilities. Develop meaningful reports on member engagement activities with suppliers with a priority on our Conversion Campaign. Provide current reporting on programs & services adoption specifically AD Rewards and the Center for Independent Distributor Leadership (CIDL).
Business Development Support
- Identify prospective member opportunities by geography, product, or service focus.
- Participate in AD Value Proposition presentations to prospects.
- Assist in vetting potential members for alignment with AD criteria.
- Support communication when introducing new members into existing markets.
- Lead onboarding and training new members.
Executive Network Governance
- Collaborate with Division Executives to manage network assignments, ensuring balanced participation and minimal competitive overlap.
- Identify and execute new opportunities for member engagement within the network structure.
- Train Network Facilitators on expectations and best practices.
Secondary Responsibilities (AD Suppliers):
- Partner with Supplier Relations to enhance engagement with existing and prospective suppliers.
- Advocate for members in supplier discussions and conflict resolution.
- Drive utilization of the Conversion process across assigned divisions.
- Liaise with Supplier Relations and Marketing to implement programs and promotions.
- Assist in identifying new supplier opportunities and participate in relevant meetings or conferences.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to deliver presentations to executive and large-group audiences.
- Technical proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook), CRM systems, and digital platforms.
- Strong ability to assemble internal and external resources to achieve objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience in the Plumbing Showroom or an adjacent business to the B2B distribution space. Proven experience working with senior executives and facilitating meetings.
- Established relationships with Decorative Brands distributors and preferred suppliers (preferred but not required).
- Demonstrated success in achieving business goals and implementing programs.
- Salesforce experience highly desirable.
- Experience in both large corporate and entrepreneurial environments preferred.
- Strong ability to assemble internal and external resources to achieve objectives.

Additional Comments:
- Location: Remote will be acceptable for the right candidate, but there will be a preference for the position to be based in Wayne, PA. As a leader in the Decorative Brands business, if based locally, they should plan to be in our corporate office throughout the year, while not traveling, where we have a hybrid schedule (Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays in office with Mondays and Fridays remote).
- Travel: 25-30%. More could be required if remote.
