Description

BASIC FUNCTION:  


Community minded front desk coordinator will manage the lobby area by providing excellent customer service with a positive first impression of FMB by welcoming customers, directing them to the appropriate areas and assisting with customer requests. Will serve as back-up personal banker, when needed. Perform all job duties in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations to include the Bank Secrecy Act.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Offer complete customer service and any clerical duties necessary to complete the job process, including, but not limited to: 

  • Act as front desk coordinator by directing customers to appropriate areas.
  • Ensure lobby doors are locked and unlocked according to lobby hours.
  • Ensure customers remain in customer designated areas.
  • Make copies and send faxes for customers.
  • Print statements, End of Year Tax Forms, CD Rates, balances, counter checks, etc.
  • Assist customers with debit card questions, maintenance, travel alerts, and PIN number changes.
  • Issue and replace debit cards.
  • Assist with online banking & the completion of credit card applications.
  • Complete address changes, check reorders, and stop payments.
  • Complete non-Cash teller transactions
  • Perform clerical duties as needed.
  • Assist customers with accessing their Safe Deposit Box
  • Activate dormant accounts when necessary.
  • Maintain knowledge of FMB products and services to promote to customers.
  • Scan and index FMB documents. 
  • Perform Notary Service for customers. 
  • Post holiday hours as needed.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

ADDITIONAL DUTIES MAY INCLUDE:

Opening and maintaining account products and services for customers. These types of accounts and services include: 

  • Checking
  • Savings
  • Certificate of Deposits (CDs)
  • Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs)
  • Health Savings Accounts (HSAs)
  • Business Accounts
  • Safe Deposit Boxes
  • Debit Cards
  • Explanation of FDIC coverage.
  • Set up auto transfers for customers.
  • Research and prepare debit card dispute paperwork.  
  • Research and provide account verifications when authorized.

Requirements

KNOWLEDGES, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Be and maintain knowledge of consumer products and services the bank offers, including fees and special promotions.
  • Strong and accurate data entry skills including Microsoft proficiency.
  • Detail oriented and flexible to multitask and prioritize daily tasks.
  • Complete tasks given to you in a timely manner without follow up by your supervisor.
  • Dependable, reliable, and punctual.
  • Maintain professionalism in manner and appearance. 
  • Be energetic and ambitious.

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Thursday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Friday, 8:00 am to 6:00 pm; rotating Saturdays, 8:00 am – 12:00 Noon.
