Description

Position Overview
MacArthur Place is seeking professional, guest-focused Valet Attendants who bring a sense of urgency, passion, and attentiveness to every guest interaction. As one of the first and last points of contact, valet attendants create memorable arrival and departure experiences by safely parking and retrieving vehicles, assisting with luggage, and ensuring guests feel valued and cared for.


This is a high-volume, guest-focused environment where being present, ready, and welcoming at all times is essential. Attendants are expected to maintain pride, integrity, and teamwork while representing MacArthur Place and contributing to a culture of luxury and excellence.


Key Responsibilities 

Guest Service & Hospitality

  • Greet guests warmly with a smile, eye contact, and enthusiastic hospitality
  • Remain fully present, attentive, and ready at the valet stand or entrance at all times
  • Respond with urgency to guest arrivals, departures, and requests
  • Safely park and retrieve vehicles (manual and automatic) following all hotel procedures
  • Assist with luggage, deliver to rooms, and provide a room orientation highlighting amenities and in-room controls
  • Anticipate guest needs, elevate concerns, and recommend personalized or enhanced services
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments for seamless service
  • Demonstrate integrity, honesty, and pride in representing MacArthur Place

Valet Area Maintenance & Property Appearance

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming valet area reflecting luxury standards
  • Sweep driveways, entrances, and valet and parking areas regularly
  • Monitor guest fire pits and surrounding areas for safety and readiness
  • Remove debris and maintain smooth traffic flow at the entrance

Safety, Security & Compliance

  • Follow SOPs and company policies, including uniform and grooming standards, meal/rest breaks, time and attendance, and professional code of conduct
  • Maintain control of vehicle keys, claim tickets, and guest property
  • Report vehicle damage, incidents, hazards, or suspicious activity immediately
  • Handle confidential guest information with discretion
  • Adhere to sustainability and environmental best practices
  • Demonstrate honesty and integrity in all operational matters

Requirements

 Qualifications

  • Previous valet, driving, or hospitality experience preferred; luxury hotel experience a plus
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean record
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Strong communication, teamwork, and attention to detail
  • Calm, composed, and guest-focused under pressure
  • Passionate about creating welcoming, memorable experiences

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

  • Frequent standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs)
  • Outdoor work in varying weather conditions
  • Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events

$18.4705 per hour + tips
