At a Glance

Compensation: Rate per hour will depend on experience

Schedule: Flexible; developed collaboratively with the selected candidate

Travel: Daily travel between Frontera clinic locations (company vehicle provided)

Key Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize exam rooms, offices, restrooms, waiting areas, and common areas on established schedules.

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust furniture, fixtures, and equipment.

• Empty trash and dispose of waste properly, including regulated medical waste per protocol.

• Refill soap, paper towels, toilet paper, and other consumable supplies.

• Disinfect high-touch surfaces following healthcare infection control guidelines.

• Use, store, and track cleaning supplies and equipment safely and responsibly.

• Report maintenance issues, safety concerns, or supply needs to your supervisor promptly.

• Follow all Frontera safety, HIPAA, and confidentiality policies.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support clinic operations.


Requirements

 

   

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Prior janitorial, custodial, or environmental services experience preferred—especially in healthcare or clinical settings.

• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and move between locations as needed.

• Valid Texas driver’s license required.


Working Conditions

This is an active, physical role. You should be comfortable with:

• Lifting and moving up to 50 pounds.

• Extended periods of standing, walking, bending, and pushing equipment.

• Working in clinical environments, including occasional exposure to biohazardous materials with appropriate PPE provided.

• Traveling between clinic sites daily within the Frontera service area.
