Account Specialist
Description

 

DOC Services is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Account Support Specialist to join our team. This role provides day-to-day administrative and operational support to the accounting and account management teams. The Account Support Specialist will assist with billing processes, maintain accurate customer account information, and help ensure timely communication between internal teams and clients.

This position requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting customer satisfaction and retention.


Essential Functions: 

  • Support day-to-day accounting and account management functions.
  • Assist with billing and invoice review to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain and update customer account information in company systems.
  • Communicate with internal teams regarding account questions, discrepancies, or required updates.
  • Provide administrative and reporting support to the accounting team.
  • Assist with maintaining customer portals and ensuring updates are completed within required timeframes.
  • Help ensure customer billing rates, rules, and scopes of work are applied accurately.
     

 Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or GED required; experience in a similar role or related industry preferred.
  • Strong customer service and client communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships that support customer retention.
  • High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and organization.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage shifting priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability and willingness to learn company SOPs, systems, and technical service offerings.
  • Working knowledge of customer-specific billing rates and rules preferred.
  • Ability to comprehend scopes of work and update customer portals accurately and within required timeframes.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Demonstrated experience delivering client-focused service and solutions.

Salary Description
$17.00-$21.00 per hour
