No experience necessary and we provide full training. These are temporary, project-based positions, but they're also a proven path in: many team members who start on client projects go on to other roles within CNS.

Compliance Navigation Specialists, Inc. supports transportation and logistics companies with safety, compliance, and risk management solutions. Our team works closely with carriers to improve safety performance, maintain compliance, and reduce operational risk.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Safety Data Coordinator to assist with obtaining and reviewing police crash reports from jurisdictions across the United States.
Position Overview
This is an entry-level position responsible for researching, requesting, and reviewing police crash reports from local and state agencies nationwide.
The role involves data entry, documentation, and communication with law enforcement offices. You will work closely with internal safety teams to help ensure accurate records and organized reporting.
No prior crash report experience is required — training will be provided.
What You’ll Do
• Research and identify the appropriate law enforcement agency for crash reports
• Request and obtain police crash reports from jurisdictions across the United States
• Communicate with police departments and government offices to retrieve reports
• Review crash reports and verify details against internal records
• Assist safety team by identifying and flagging key information in reports
• Enter and track data in internal databases and systems
• Maintain detailed notes on report requests, status, and follow-ups
• Organize digital files using Microsoft 365 tools
• Track report requests to ensure timely completion
• Support internal safety documentation and reporting processes
