Position Summary:
The Regional Manager is responsible for overseeing contract maintenance operations across Kentucky, Tennessee, and Indiana. This role ensures service quality, operational efficiency, contract compliance, and client satisfaction across multiple accounts and service locations. The Regional Manager leads field supervisors and site managers, manages budgets and staffing, and drives business growth by increasing regional revenue through contract expansion, promoting project work opportunities, and strengthening client partnerships.

Salary: $100,000 – $120,000 annually
OTE: $129,200 – $163,400

Schedule: Flexible with regional travel as required
Key Responsibilities:
Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day operations for multiple contract maintenance sites across the assigned region.
- Ensure all services are delivered according to contractual obligations, company standards, and safety regulations.
- Monitor operational performance metrics including productivity, quality, safety, and cost control.
- Implement operational improvements to increase efficiency and service quality.
Client Relations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients within the region.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and contract retention.
- Conduct regular client meetings and site visits to review performance and address concerns.
- Resolve escalated service issues quickly and professionally.
Team Leadership
- Manage and support Area Managers, Site Supervisors, and field staff.
- Recruit, hire, train, and develop employees within the region.
- Conduct performance evaluations and implement development plans.
- Promote a culture of accountability, safety, and customer service.
Financial Management
- Manage regional budgets, labor costs, and operating expenses.
- Review financial reports and ensure contracts meet profitability targets.
- Approve purchasing, equipment, and resource allocations.
- Identify opportunities to improve margins and control costs.
Business Development & Revenue Growth
- Increase regional revenue by identifying and promoting project work opportunities within existing accounts.
- Partner with clients to recommend additional maintenance services, specialty projects, and contract expansions.
- Support the sales team in identifying new contract opportunities within the region.
- Assist with proposals, site assessments, and client presentations.
- Participate in contract renewals and expansion opportunities.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure all operations comply with company policies, OSHA regulations, and client safety standards.
- Conduct site audits and safety inspections.
- Implement training programs focused on safety, compliance, and best practices.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience)
· 5+ years of business/maintenance/facilities management experience
· Minimum 2 years in a regional or multi-site leadership role
· Demonstrated success in B2B sales and revenue growth
· Strong technical knowledge of industrial or facility systems
· Proven leadership and team management experience
· Strong understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations
· Experience managing budgets and controlling operational costs
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
· Experience using CMMS or maintenance management software
· Valid Driver’s License and ability to travel within the region
Desired Qualifications:
· Certifications in facilities management, project management, or specific maintenance fields (e.g., CFM, PMP, HVAC).
· Experience managing maintenance in a specific industry (e.g., manufacturing, retail, healthcare, etc.).
· Knowledge of energy efficiency initiatives and sustainable practices in facility management.
· Experience with managing and negotiating vendor contracts.
Technology Requirements:
· Proficiency with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) or similar software.
· Experience with building automation systems and troubleshooting.
· Familiarity with data analysis tools and reporting for maintenance operations.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
