Points East Veterinary Emergency Hospital in Fayetteville, North Carolina is currently seeking an ER/UC Veterinary Assistant or Technician to join a strong team of ER doctors as we expand and grow in our beautiful 7,000 square foot facility. Various schedules are available for this role.

Required Skills/Abilities:
- Able to obtain a manual blood pressure
- Knowledge with Idexx Bloodwork Machines
- Consistent Venipuncture
- Able to prepare and interpret a manual urinalysis
- Experience in surgical monitoring, prep and intubation
- Able to set up/interpret a PCV
- Knowledge in performing CPR
- Knowledge in EKG setup
- General Anatomy Knowledge
- Triaging Knowledge
- Understanding normal vital signs and values
- General Knowledge of commonly used medications
- Ability to perform well and keep calm in high volume ER
- Have a can-do attitude and initiative
Education and Experience:
- ER or Urgent Care experience preferred
