Now Hiring: Maintenance Technician II

Pay: Up to $31/hour depending on skills and experience
Schedule: Day Shift – 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Job Type: Full-Time Monday- Friday, OT could be offered but not promised.

What You’ll Do:

  • Perform routine preventive maintenance and inspections on equipment and systems, including HVAC systems, motors, pumps, compressors, and plumbing
     
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to minimize downtime
     
  • Assist with installation, setup, calibration, and testing of new equipment and machinery
     
  • Use Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, inspections, and maintenance activities
     
  • Work with senior technicians to resolve complex maintenance issues and improve maintenance processes
     
  • Replace worn or damaged parts such as belts, bearings, seals, and valves
     
  • Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements, adjustments, or replacements
     
  • Assist with emergency repairs while following all safety procedures and protocols
     
  • Support the development and execution of preventive maintenance programs
     
  • Maintain an organized inventory of parts and tools
     
  • Participate in safety audits and inspections, identifying hazards and recommending improvements
     
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians when needed
Requirements

 

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (technical certification or associate’s degree preferred)
     
  • 3+ years of experience in mechanical, electrical, or facilities maintenance
     
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial equipment
     
  • Proficiency using maintenance tools including hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment such as multimeters and vibration analyzers
     
  • Strong understanding of preventive maintenance strategies
     
  • Knowledge of safety practices including lockout/tagout procedures, confined space entry, and hazardous material handling
     
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints
     
  • Experience with CMMS systems for tracking maintenance tasks and work orders
     
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
     

Desired Qualifications:

  • Certifications in industrial maintenance, HVAC, electrical, or mechanical systems (EPA, OSHA, or similar)
     
  • Experience with Building Automation Systems (BAS), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), or industrial control systems
     
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, industrial, or facilities maintenance environments
     
  • Familiarity with project management or maintenance scheduling software
     

Physical & Work Requirements:

  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
     
  • Ability to perform physical tasks including climbing ladders, working in confined spaces, and using power tools
     
  • Ability to work flexible hours when needed, including evenings, weekends, or on-call shifts
     
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
