Job Summary
Hanover Bank is looking for a full-time Project Manager to join our Team! The Project Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing technology and operational projects across the bank. This role works closely with business units, IT leadership, and vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with the bank’s strategic objectives. The position supports project governance, maintains project documentation, and provides regular status reporting to senior leadership.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage the full lifecycle of assigned projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and completion.
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, task lists, and status reports.
- Coordinate project activities across business units, IT teams, and third-party vendors.
- Facilitate project meetings, document action items, and track deliverables to completion.
- Monitor project scope, schedule, and risks, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Maintain project documentation, including requirements, project plans, meeting notes, and decision logs.
- Track key milestones and ensure stakeholders remain informed of project progress.
- Assist in identifying operational improvements and process efficiencies during project execution.
- Support vendor coordination and implementation activities for new systems or technology initiatives.
- Provide regular status updates to the CIO and senior leadership on project progress and risks.
- Ensure projects follow established governance and change management processes.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology, or a related field preferred but not required
- At least 3 years of experience managing projects or supporting project management activities
- Experience working in a banking or financial services environment preferred
- Familiarity with technology projects, system implementations, or operational improvement initiatives
- Exposure to project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or similar platforms is preferred
Skills and Abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to communicate clearly with technical teams, business stakeholders, and senior management
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate project documentation
- Ability to facilitate meetings, coordinate teams, and drive projects forward
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook

Salary: $94,000 - $116,000; placement within this range will vary based on experience and skill level.
