The Role
- The Senior Quality Manager leads the strategy, governance, and execution of the Quality Management System supporting the design, manufacturing, and deployment of electromechanical and power electronics systems.
- This role ensures excellence in manufacturing quality, product validation, reliability engineering, and customer quality while enabling scalable growth of the organization.
- The position works cross-functionally with engineering, operations, supply chain, and supplier quality teams to ensure the delivery of reliable and high-performance power conversion systems used in critical energy infrastructure.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities – Quality Management System Leadership
- Lead and continuously improve the Quality Management System aligned with international quality standards.
- Establish governance processes to ensure consistent implementation of quality policies, procedures, and documentation across manufacturing operations.
- Lead internal and external quality audits and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Manage the Corrective and Preventive Action process to drive systemic improvements.
- Establish quality governance frameworks that support organizational scalability and operational excellence.
Manufacturing and Product Quality
- Ensure quality throughout the manufacturing lifecycle of electromechanical assemblies including power conversion systems, inverter cabinets, power electronics modules, control electronics, and integrated electromechanical systems preferred.
- Establish and maintain process quality controls and control plans to ensure manufacturing stability and product conformance.
- Monitor manufacturing process capability and implement improvement actions to enhance production yield and product quality.
Process and Manufacturing Audits
- Strong experience developing, executing, and maintaining robust manufacturing process controls to ensure compliance with the Process Audit Standard VDA 6.3 and successful performance during internal and external process audits.
- Evaluate production readiness, process stability, and effectiveness of manufacturing controls.
- Ensure corrective actions are implemented and sustained following audit findings.
New Product Introduction of Quality Governance
- Establish quality frameworks to support new product introduction and manufacturing readiness.
- Ensure product validation and verification activities are completed prior to production release.
- Collaborate with engineering to ensure quality requirements are integrated into product design and manufacturing processes.
Product Validation and Verification
- Oversee validation and verification activities including functional testing, electrical performance verification, environmental testing, and reliability testing.
- Ensure products meet performance, reliability, and regulatory requirements before full-scale production.
Customer Quality and Field Performance
- Lead investigation and resolution of customer quality issues and field failures.
- Implement structured problem-solving methodologies including Eight Disciplines Problem Solving, A3 Problem Solving Methodology, Root Cause Analysis and Human Error Root Cause Analysis HERCA.
- Ensure corrective actions effectively prevent recurrence of issues.
Reliability Engineering and Failure Analysis
- Lead initiatives to improve product reliability and robustness.
- Conduct failure analysis and support engineering teams in identifying design or process improvements.
- Monitor field performance data to drive reliability improvement initiatives.
Continuous Improvement and Operational Excellence
- Drive initiatives using Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to improve manufacturing quality, production yield, product reliability, and operational efficiency.
- Develop and maintain data-driven quality metrics and dashboards to support operational decision making.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with engineering to support Design for Quality, Design for Manufacturability, and Design for Assembly principles during product development.
- Collaborate with operations to improve process capability and production quality control.
- Work with the Supplier Quality and Development organization to resolve supplier-related issues impacting manufacturing operations.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering.
- 20+ years of leadership experience in manufacturing quality.
- Experience with electromechanical systems, power electronics, or industrial equipment manufacturing.
- Experience implementing quality systems and manufacturing process audits.
