About the Role

We are looking for a Manager of Financial Reporting to be responsible for CloudBees’ internal and external financial reporting.  Reporting to the Sr. Director, Controller, the role will be a key position in the finance organization, interacting and coordinating with various teams across the group to ensure reporting data originating from Accounting is complete, accurate, and in accordance with US GAAP. Successful candidates for this position will have 3-5 years of professional experience.  Industry experience preferred but not required. This role will be as an Individual Contributor. 

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the US GAAP reporting and other external reporting requirements. Support statutory reporting as needed.
• Own all reporting originating from accounting while ensuring Completeness & Accuracy
• Develop a culture of continuous improvement, finance transformation, automation, training, and success in the finance organization. 
• Lead the adoption of Agentic AI to automate Accounting’s workflows
• Assist in technical accounting and entries for some complex areas, such as share-based compensation (ASC 718)

Qualifications

Required:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, CPA; Public accounting experience, Big 4 preferred but not required.
• Experience in public accounting
• Strong leadership skills with a consistent record of leading meaningful initiatives across the organization.
• Extensive knowledge of US GAAP and SEC reporting requirements.
• Comfortable addressing technical accounting issues and accounting for complex transactions.

Preferred (not required):

• Experience working in a fast-paced, high growth environment.
• A demonstrated history of solving multiple and complex operational and accounting challenges.
• Strong understanding of financial statement analysis, current knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Strong interpersonal written and oral communication skills, analytical skills, and the ability to work well independently and in a team environment.
• Effective project management skills, including demonstrated ability to think end-to-end, manage long-term projects, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Industry experience (I.e. SaaS or Software)

Compensation & Benefits

• Base Pay Range: $125,000 – $140,000 annually In accordance with applicable law, this represents a reasonable estimated compensation range for this role. Actual compensation will be determined based on skills, experience, and geographic location and may be more or less than the amount shown above. Outside of base compensation, CloudBees also offer stock options and variable bonuses.
