Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Lead Therapist - Full Time 

This position requires an active State Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license. Applicants without a current PTA license will not be considered. 


HTS is now hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant to lead our team at a 76-bed skilled nursing facility in Bedford, IN, about 25 miles south of Bloomington. This CMS 5-Star rated facility has a spacious and well-equipped therapy gym located in the rehab-to-home wing.


This PTA will also be Lead Therapist for the facility, so will treat patients for a majority of the work hours while also performing Lead Therapist duties such as attending facility and team meetings, following up on therapy referrals, planning minutes and reporting any issues to Regional Director.


Position Details:

· Full-time position, 30 – 40 hours per week (30 hours minimum guaranteed). 

· Competitive hourly rate. 

· The Lead Therapist position allows a PTA to gain experience in leadership with a small team of therapists.

Requirements

Applicants must have an active Indiana Physical Therapist Assistant license or must have the necessary qualifications to earn Indiana license. These qualifications include graduation from a Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education-accredited physical therapist assistant education program, subsequent passing of a state-administered national exam, and fulfilling the state’s requirements for licensure. 


Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States. Proof of eligibility will be required upon offer of employment.
