As a Cristek Systems Administrator, you’ll own the implementation and management of the server and client infrastructure that supports our manufacturing operations spanning 5 locations and 350 end users.
Joining our Information Technology team, you’ll help us ensure server environments that support our production operation are running efficiently by monitoring performance and performing maintenance tasks (upgrading, patching, troubleshooting, etc.). Additionally, you’ll be responsible for understanding functional requirements of the manufacturing organization and translating them into actionable deliverables for IT.   
The Systems   Administrator is responsible for the overall administration, optimization,  security, and continuous improvement of the organization’s SAP Business One environment and its supporting Microsoft SQL Server databases. This role ensures system stability, performance, data integrity, and alignment with business operations. DUTIES AND   RESPONSIBILITIES Administer, maintain, and support the SAP  Business One ERP system, including configuration, upgrades, patches, and        enhancementsManage Microsoft SQL Server databases supporting SAP Business One, including performance tuning, indexing, backups, restores, and high availability strategiesMonitor system performance and proactively resolve issues related to ERP functionality, integrations, and database        operationsSupport end users by troubleshooting application issues, providing training, and documenting procedures and best practicesDevelop and maintain custom queries, reports, and dashboards using SQL and SAP Business One toolsManage ERP security, user roles, authorizations, and data integrityCoordinate with third-party vendors, SAP partners, and consultants for system enhancements and issue resolutionPlan and execute ERP upgrades, testing, and production rollouts with minimal business disruptionSupport integrations between SAP Business One  and other internal or external systemsEnsure system compliance with company policies, data security standards, and audit requirements
Requirements

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE    

  • 4–5 years of hands-on experience administering SAP Business One in a production environment
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft SQL Server (SQL development, performance tuning, backup/recovery, and optimization)
  • Experience supporting ERP modules such as Finance, Inventory, Sales, Purchasing, and Manufacturing (as applicable)
  • Experience with SAP Business One add-ons, integrations, or SDK is a plus
  • SAP Business One certification preferred
  • Experience with Boyum, B1 Usability Package, or other SAP B1 add-ons preferred
  • Familiarity with Crystal Reports or other reporting tools preferred
  • Experience with system integrations, APIs, or EDI preferred
  • Manufacturing or distribution industry experience preferred

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND PHYSICAL   REQUIREMENTS

  •  Proficiency in SQL queries, stored procedures, views, and reporting
  • Solid understanding of ERP business processes and workflows
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
