The Busser plays a vital role in creating and maintaining Won’t Stop Hospitality’s radically different and radically better guest experience. Energetic, self-motivated, flexible, and detail-oriented, the Busser supports both the front-of-house (FoH) and back-of-house (BoH) teams to ensure a clean, efficient, and welcoming restaurant environment. Bussers are responsible for maintaining dining room cleanliness and table readiness while positively contributing to the overall flow of service. This position requires composure in a fast-paced, high-volume setting and a strong commitment to teamwork, hospitality, and excellence.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Clear tables in an efficient and discreet manner to maintain the restaurant’s flow of seating.
- Clean and reset tables, chairs, and surrounding areas according to Won’t Stop Hospitality Inc. standards.
- Assist service staff by pre-bussing and ensuring all items are properly cleared throughout the guest’s experience.
- Keep service stations stocked and organized with necessary supplies.
- Communicate proactively with the host(ess) and service team regarding table progression and seating flow.
- Assist back-of-house by returning clean items to the front-of-house as needed.
- Exhibit a “clean as you go” mentality and maintain high attention to detail throughout the shift.
- Support the team in all service areas when necessary to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Display a positive, customer-focused mindset in all interactions.
- Maintain composure and professionalism during high-volume periods.
- Other duties as assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities but is expected to work collaboratively under the direction of the General Manager and Assistant Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred. Must demonstrate basic understanding of food handling, sanitation, and prep procedures.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, write and speak fluently, in the primary language of the property location.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense, define problems, collect data and notify management when necessary. Ability to successfully re-prioritize tasks in a moment’s notice.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations.
