QBE, LLC is a mission-focused defense support organization providing technical and cybersecurity services.

QBE is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to support the MCCOG/MCEN mission per SOW requirements, delivering technical, operational, and engineering functions aligned with enterprise network defense and operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, implement, and ensure compliance with cybersecurity policy, to include Assessment and Authorization requirements. Duties: 
  • Plan, implement, upgrade, and/or monitor cybersecurity measures to improve cyber defense and maintain a cyber resilient network 
  • Assess cybersecurity vulnerabilities for risks and propose and implement remediation actions or risk mitigation strategies
  • Ensure appropriate security controls are in place that will safeguard digital files and electronic infrastructure
  • Respond to computer security breaches to re-establish protections and make required reports

Requirements

Required Qualifications

  • 10 years of professional experience with cybersecurity engineering 
  • Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a concentration in computer science or equivalent
  • Active Secret clearance 
  • Ability to work onsite
  • Strong knowledge of NIST SP 800-53 controls.
  • Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift at least 25 lbs periodically.
  • Ability to commute to the required work location daily.

IAM/IAT/IASAE I minimum


Preferred certifications

IAT III / IASAE II
