Joseph, Hollander & Craft LLC has an immediate opening for an experienced Receptionist / Office Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will, among other duties as assigned, answer, screen and direct incoming calls; greet, direct and assist clients and visitors; manage and maintain conference rooms and conference room calendars; sort and distribute incoming mail; order and stock supplies; and make daily court and bank runs.
Additional duties include organizing and maintaining documents and case files, making photocopies, drafting and typing office memos, mail, fax, or arranging for delivery of legal correspondence to clients, witnesses and court officials. Excellent communication, organizational skills, ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, participation in ongoing learning and development and demonstration of initiative are essential in this role.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $17 - $21 per hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM (can be flexible)

Requirements: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one year of related experience. Must have strong oral and written communication skills and demonstrate proficiency with common office equipment and applications including: Multi-Line Telephone System, Copy Machines, Scanners, Postage Machines, Outlook, Microsoft Word, Adobe, and common web browsers.
Reception Services:
- Answering, screening and directing incoming calls; greeting, directing, and assisting clients & visitors; maintaining professional image and providing superior internal and external customer service
- Managing conference room calendars, including scheduling and organizing conference room events
- Maintaining general reception area, conference rooms and common areas
- Preparing conference rooms for guests
Office Assistant Services:
- Preparing photocopies, scanning documents, shredding documents as needed
- Sorting and processing all incoming mail according to destination and type
- Setting up videoconferencing for office meetings
- Coordinating ordering office supplies, break room supplies, etc.
- Stocking break room, copy room, conference rooms and supply cabinets
- Assisting with the processing of payments, preparing daily bank deposit, and preparing petty cash reconciliation
- Daily court runs, bank deposits, errands and performing other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
- Assisting with file clerk work
- Other tasks as assigned
