Legacy is seeking a Senior Manager, Advertising Strategy & Partnerships to serve as a trusted strategic partner for our key advertising accounts, while also shaping and scaling advertising products that drive sustainable revenue growth and exceptional user experiences. The successful candidate will bring deep expertise in digital advertising/marketing, a strong track record of launching, analyzing and scaling high-impact products, and the ability to work externally with senior partners while influencing internal product and roadmap decisions.

- 7+ years’ experience in digital advertising, media, ad tech, or a related customer-facing role.
- Deep understanding of digital advertising products, ad operations/workflows, campaign strategy, and performance measurement.
- Proven experience launching and scaling advertising campaigns or media products in a publisher or platform environment.
- Extremely strong analytical skills, with the ability to perform complex analyses on raw data, create actionable insights, and present to others effectively.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management skills, with experience influencing senior clients and executives, and working cross-functionally.
- Experience managing complex partnerships, vendors, and multiple workstreams simultaneously.
- Technical proficiency with ad serving platforms (e.g., Google Ad Manager), analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics), and workflow systems (e.g., Jira). Experience with B2B and D2C CRM and CDP tools also a plus.
- Comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments and proactively solving complex problems.
Essential Job Functions
Strategic Partnerships & Client Leadership
- Serve as the primary strategic and post-sale partner for key accounts, acting as a trusted advisor and technical expert.
- Partner closely with Sales to design and deliver bespoke, high-value advertising solutions that meet client KPIs and business objectives.
- Lead regular business reviews, product planning sessions, and performance discussions grounded in data and insights.
- Educate clients on Legacy’s advertising products and best practices, while thinking innovatively and growing long-term partnerships.
- Collaborate with Marketing team to create and present customer-facing materials for sales teams, account reviews, etc.
Advertising Product Strategy & Development
- Define and influence the advertising product strategy and roadmap across display, native, video, branded content, and programmatic channels.
- Manage cross-functional teams (product, engineering, data, ad operations, consumer marketing, content, and external vendors) through the full custom campaign lifecycle—from discovery and design to launch, optimization, and iteration.
- Identify market trends, partner needs, and emerging opportunities, translating them into scalable product initiatives.
- Ensure ad products deliver measurable value for advertisers while protecting and enhancing the user experience.
Data, Measurement & Optimization
- Own performance measurement frameworks and KPIs for assigned partnerships and products.
- Use data to proactively monitor campaign performance, identify opportunities, and drive experimentation, optimization, and continuous improvement.
- Translate complex analyses into clear narratives and recommendations for both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Operational & Cross-Functional Leadership
- Manage multiple complex initiatives simultaneously, ensuring clear scope, timelines, and delivery.
- Coordinate internal teams and external partners to maintain execution quality and meet business goals.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a collaborative, high-performance team culture.

Location
This role can be based in our Chicago HQ, hybrid, or remote with the expectation of occasional travel to Chicago for meetings as needed by the business. Compensation
Annual salary range $80,000-$90,000 + Bonus
Final compensation is determined based on a variety of factors such as experience, education, certifications, and geographic location.
