Cyber Security Specialist II/III
Description

The Cyber Security Specialist II/III supports cybersecurity engineering and compliance execution in a NAVSEA Program Office Support role. This role helps implement controls, monitor security posture, and remediate vulnerabilities across supported systems. This position is contingent upon award. Award is expected in 3-6 months.
 

Requirements

  

- Experience supporting RMF/cyber compliance activities in defense or regulated environments.
- Familiarity with vulnerability scanning, control validation, and security documentation workflows.
- Ability to coordinate remediation with system and software team. 

- Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer/Electrical/Electronics Engineering, or Mathematics with a computer-science concentration.
- 3+ years of professional cybersecurity engineering experience.
- DoD 8570/8140-aligned IAM/IAT/IASAE Level I position-based certification expectations as applicable.
- Demonstrated ability to support security control implementation and risk reduction.
- Active DoD Secret clearance (or clearable to that level) required due to support for classified programs and facilities.
