Full-Time Transportation Clerk

Description – Administrative/Office assistant

SUMMARY:

Looking for full-time transportation clerk to aid in coordinating transportation of vehicles to the auction. The responsibility of the transportation clerk is to call repossession agents and dealers and coordinate picking up vehicles to be delivered to the auction. The transportation clerk will work directly with the banks, repossession agents, and transportation manager to communicate ETAs and any issues that may arise.

RESPONSIBLE FOR:

1. Emailing banks, repossession agents, and dealers to communicate ETAs

2. Calling repossession agents to qualify and schedule vehicles

3. Reporting any issues with the Transportation Manager and Communicating issues through various programs

4. Communicating with Rollback and Van drivers

5. Creating and checking paperwork to give to drivers for accuracy

6. Following up with vehicles that have issues to ensure they are transported to auction in a timely manner

7. Other duties as assigned by management.

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook
• Strong Administration skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Detail Oriented with strong organization skills
• Strong attention to timelines
• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
• Employment contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screen

Not Required but would be a plus:

• Proficiency in Excel & Word

• Familiarity with towing equipment and vehicle maintenance

• Familiarity with auctions and repossession
