Description

Avalon Consulting, an innovative, full-service fundraising consulting agency, is seeking a Fundraising Copywriter to craft compelling, mission-driven creative for nonprofit organizations advancing environmental conservation, social justice, cultural arts, and other progressive causes.


At Avalon, every copy project is an opportunity to make a difference. As a member of Avalon’s copy team, you'll be responsible for diverse slate of projects for our nonprofit clients — appeals and acquisition campaigns to inspire giving, newsletters that keep donors connected, emails and digital ads to drive immediate action. And you’ll be a driving force in the Copy Department’s growth and success by delivering standout client work, partnering with teams on messaging audits and creative strategy, and collaborating with the Senior Copy Director on initiatives that elevate our entire team. 

We are proud to be a fully remote workplace, where team members work from home offices across the U.S., with occasional travel for client meetings, industry events, or company gatherings.

Requirements

What We Need

You will be a great fit for us if you possess:

  • At least 3 years professional experience writing fundraising copy
  • A demonstrated ability to reflect varying organizational voices and messaging frameworks in copy
  • Strong grammar, proofing and editing skills
  • The ability to multi-task and manage simultaneous projects and tight deadlines
  • Exceptional skills in Microsoft Office programs including Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint. Comfortable working with AI tools like Microsoft CoPilot and Claude.

The budgeted salary range for this position is $70,000 to $75,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Salary Description
$70,000 to $75,000, commensurate with experience
