Full Time Marketing and Sales Trainee

Position Information: The full time Marketing and Sales Trainee is intended to be a temporary position leading into either a Client Advisor Role or a Marketing and Merchandising Specialist depending on the employee's skillset and career intentions. The Marketing and Sales Trainee’s responsibilities fall in two areas. The primary responsibilities of the position include both basic marketing as well introductory sales duties. Marketing responsibilities will include inventory pictures, videos, and descriptions as well as maintaining presence on Facebook and other social media. Sales duties will include greeting floor traffic, calling/emailing customers based on scripts & offers, as well as learning the necessary steps to take a customer from the beginning of the sales process to the F&I steps. This split phase is intended to last 4-8 months.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet every customer, every day
- Maintain high ethical standards when dealing with customers, co-workers and vendors
- Put safety first. Adhere to all Safety Policies, Procedures and Personal Protective Equipment standards
- Inventory Marketing: taking pictures, writing descriptions, learning how to shoot
- videos, keeping up with Youtube uploads & channel playlists
- Posting of customer photos & other messaging to Facebook/Twitter/Instagram
- Developing basic graphics for print and online marketing materials
- Greet floor traffic--enter DL into CRM and TO to associate
- Calling/emailing customers to solicit appointments/business based on scripts and
- campaigns generated by Marketing & Management
- Responding to/filtering requests for sponsorships, prizes, volunteer opportunities
- and reporting to management on a timely basis
- Learn traditional sales process, from beginning until the TO to F&I
- Maintain a safe and clean workspace, as well as ensuring the entire facility is orderly, clean and free of hazards
Qualifications: Valid driver’s license and clean driving record. High school diploma or the equivalent. Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information. Ability to work with specific computer software such as Excel, Vision, and Vue. Proficiency on social media platforms. Professional appearance in person and online. Ability to work well with others. Excellent communication skills.
Working Conditions: The Marketing and Sales Trainee will work at a desk in the sales area of the dealership. S/he will routinely move about the dealership to greet customers and complete other duties. S/he may be exposed to noise, vibration, paint, dust, exhaust fumes, and other hazardous and non-hazardous materials. S/he may drive in both dealer and customer-owned vehicles.
