Job Description:


Provide comprehensive systems engineering, technical, and maintenance support for the Surface Warfare Engineering Facility (SWEF). This support encompasses the full lifecycle of specified systems, including operation, maintenance, installation, and logistics, as outlined in the contract SOW. The work involves a wide range of weapon control systems, communication suites, and navigation systems.


· Systems Maintenance and Lifecycle Support: Operate, maintain, test, troubleshoot, install, de-install, embark, debark, move, and repair designated equipment, including hardware, cabling, and associated components. Perform cable fabrication and the installation of connectors to support system interfaces as required for installation and repair actions. 


· Software Installation and Configuration: Perform installation, configuration, and verification of the operation of software on the following systems and their associated simulators and support equipment: Tomahawk Mission Distribution System (MDS), Tomahawk Strike Network (TSN), Tomahawk Communications (TCOMMS) Tactical, and Tomahawk Weapon Control System (TTWCS), Mid-Range Capability (MRC), Navigational Sensor System Interface (NAVSSI) and AN/WSN-7, Global Communication Control System – Maritime (GCCS-M).


· System Verification, Validation, and Troubleshooting: Replicate, test, and verify total system functionality prior to a planned installation or upgrade. Utilize test equipment (e.g., digital/analog multi-meters, oscilloscopes, logic/spectrum/network analyzers) to troubleshoot and identify system anomalies.


· Security and Safety: Perform proper handling, storage, safeguarding, and destruction of cryptographic (crypto) key material and equipment IAW current Electronic Key Management System (EKMS) policies.


Training Support: Demonstrate the operation and maintenance procedures for equipment, systems, and hardware to Government-designated personnel

Minimum Qualifications:


· Must be legally authorized to in the United States without the need of employer sponsorship now or at any time in the future 

· Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance level Secret


Preferred Qualifications:


· Systems Knowledge: In-depth diagnostic, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance knowledge of the Tomahawk Weapon Control Systems (MDS, TSN, TCOMMS) is mandatory.

· Interface Knowledge: Demonstrable, in-depth knowledge of Tomahawk Weapon System (TWS) interfaces is required, including:

Ø US Surface (VLS/AUR) and Submarine (WCS/AUR) launch interfaces

Ø Navigation systems (NAVSSI/GPNTS, AN/WSN-7)

Ø Command & Control systems (GCCS-M 4.x, TMPC)

Ø Network systems (TSN, ISNS)

Ø Communication systems (HF, VHF, UHF, EHF, DMR, LINK-16)


· Maintenance Experience: Experience with Naval Weapon Control System hardware, configuration control methodology, and maintenance processes (e.g., technical manuals, PMS) is required.


Security Clearance:


Applicants must have an active security clearance and/or the ability to obtain and maintain US Government Security Clearance. Selected candidates will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain a DoD Government- granted security clearance. Individuals will be subject to a background investigation to include but not limited to, criminal history, employment and education verification, drug testing, and creditworthiness.

Salary Description
$52,062.00-$68,969.00 Yearly
