The Quality Assurance Associate supports testing activities to ensure software applications and systems meet functional and quality expectations prior to release. This role assists with test planning, executes test cases, documents results, and reports defects. The position works with project teams to validate system behavior, support regression testing, and help ensure software solutions meet business and user requirements.
Job Responsibilities/Duties:
- Write and Execute manual test cases and document test results
- Identify, document, and track software defects using defect tracking tools
- Assist in analyzing defects and gathering relevant system logs or data for troubleshooting
- Perform basic SQL queries or data validation to verify expected system behavior
- Participate in test planning and test case reviews
- Support regression testing during release cycles
- Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and client stakeholders to clarify expected functionality
- Demonstrate initiative and ownership of assigned testing tasks.
- Attention to detail
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, CIS, MIS, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Basic SQL query skills or ability to learn
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to document and track defects clearly and accurately

Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

RSI determines pay range based upon numerous compensation factors, including experience, skill set, and geographic location. A current and reasonable estimated range for this position is $65,500 - $70,000. However, it’s possible for an individual to be hired at a salary outside of this range.
