AM Prep Cook
Description

SORA is hiring a qualified AM Prep Chef for our growing company. Take your culinary career to the next level in this dynamic restaurant kitchen.

Applicants must:

- be punctual

- have reliable transportation

- have two years of upscale dining experience MANDATORY

- cook vegetables with care and meats to proper temperatures

-be self motivated

The application process consists of both a standard interview and a working interview/stage.

Requirements
  • Hours are 9am-5pm.
  • 2+ years of experience preparing and cooking food in a fine dining environment.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, loud environment and can stand for up to nine hours.
  • Have no problem bending, squatting and lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
  • Culinary degree is preferred.
  • ServeSafe certification is preferred.
  • Catering experience is beneficial.
