ATSI support services are growing. We are currently seeking a dedicated professional with a proven track record of success to join our team. This full-time position supports the Office of Naval Research (ONR). The Science Advisor (SA) Program Specialist will provide program and administrative support to the ONR Global Science Advisor Program.
The selected candidate will accept technical tasking and task prioritization direction from the ONR Global Science Advisor Program Manager, who will serve as the Technical Point of Contact (TPOC) for this position. The role will support the administration, execution, and evaluation of Science Advisor program activities while assisting with program coordination, briefing preparation, and management documentation.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills and possess experience supporting U.S. Government Science and Technology (S&T) programs. The candidate must be capable of working in a dynamic environment while interacting with senior military and civilian leadership.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level security clearance.
- Bachelor’s degree with at least seven (7) years of relevant work experience, OR Associate’s degree with at least ten (10) years of U.S. Government Science and Technology (S&T) program support experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency managing customer requirements across a broad range of administrative and program support tasks, including briefing preparation and maintaining administrative program documentation and history.
- Experience supporting the administration, execution, and evaluation of management or program initiatives.
- Demonstrated ability to professionally interact with senior military and civilian leadership, including O-6 and GS-15 level personnel, across Joint, Navy, and Marine Corps organizations.
- Demonstrated proficiency in planning, scheduling, and managing conferences and multi-day meetings.
- Strong organizational, communication, and coordination skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively while supporting program leadership and stakeholders.
