Position Summary

We are seeking a Lead Data Entry Technician who is experienced, reliable, and takes pride in accuracy and efficiency. This individual will oversee data entry operations, ensure timely and correct prescription processing, and support a dedicated team of technicians.

The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and thrives in a fast-paced pharmacy setting. PioneerRx experience is a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily prescription data  entry workflow to ensure accuracy and timely completion.
• Enter and verify prescription,  patient, and insurance information in PioneerRx or equivalent pharmacy      software.
• Review incoming orders for completeness, legibility, and compliance.
• Act as the primary contact for troubleshooting and resolving data entry issues.
• Train, mentor, and guide new  data entry technicians.
• Collaborate with pharmacists,  operations, and billing teams to maintain seamless workflow.
• Monitor productivity and  quality metrics, identifying areas for improvement.
• Maintain strict compliance with  HIPAA, URAC, ACHC, and all state and federal pharmacy regulations.
• Support internal audits,   special projects, and process optimization initiatives.

 Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of pharmacy   data entry experience (LTC or specialty pharmacy preferred).
• Experience with PioneerRx is  highly preferred.
• Active Pharmacy Technician   license/certification (state-specific).
• Exceptional attention to detail  and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong organizational and  leadership skills.
• Dependable, professional, and  adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal  communication skills.
