General Description
The CCHS Principal's responsibilities include expertise in Administrating Collaborative 21st Century Learning Skills and implementation of curriculum on Canvas, train CCHS Staff in Curriculum Development and Instruction, CCHS Calendar of Events, Learner/Parent Handbook, update and manage CCHS areas of the CCS Website, and any designated extra-curricular areas of the school deemed by the Executive Director.

§ Day of Champions
o Mission Trips
§ Oversee Unit Agendas
o Briefings and Debriefings
§ Oversee planning of Professional Development and In-Service Trainings
§ Collaborate with the Dean of Academics
o CCS Parent/Learner Handbook Development
o Maintaining academic standing among Learners
o Discussion of academic struggle and C- or below grades
o Weekly Grade Check communication and advising
o Implementation of an Academic Probation
§ Discussion with Learner
§ Communication to Parent/Guardian of Academic Probation
§ Attend Administrative Council Meetings for Academic Dismissal.
§ Oversee Winter Mountain Seminar Administration
o Oversee organization of Snow Summit and verify accuracy
o Pine Summit Cabin Lists
o Pine Summit Liability Waiver administration
o Transportation to and from Big Bear, CA
§ CCHS Website
o Facilitate all Web content
o Review and manage Website regularly
§ Oversee CDIAI Team for the Administration of IOWA assessments and any other standardized assessment
o Primary Communicator of PSAT and IOWA
§ Remain to date with test forms and testing changes
o Communicate to CCHS Families and organize PSAT Administration
o Oversee Administration of PSAT and IOWA
o Coordinate collection and proper submission of PSAT and IOWA Testing Materials
o Analyze and facilitate data from PSAT and IOWA results
§ Oversee the Day-to-Day Scheduling of CCHS
o Including all adjusted schedules
§ Work with Crossroads IT Management on CCHS Technology
o Troubleshooting issues with Staff and Learners
o Researching and organizing needed upgrades
§ Oversee needs with Systems Manager
o Research
o Webinars/Demos
o Devise new process with Administrative Team
§ Inspire Innovation among CCHS Team and Learners.

EDUCATION
· Bachelor’s Degree
· Preferred, Master’s degree in specified field
· Preferred, 4 years of experience in Academic/Learner/Parent Counseling and Administration
POSITION STRUCTURE AND LEVEL
Reporting: This position reports to the CCS Executive Director
Organization: CCHS
WORKING CONDITIONS
· Able to open and close School Campus Facilities.
· Able to keep the campus safe and protected from the public during school hours.
· Able to meet with staff, learners, and parents when dealing with behavioral issues.
· Able to sit and work at a computer keyboard for extended periods of time.
· Able to stoop, kneel, bend at the waist and reach daily.
· Able to perform general office administrative activities: copying, filing, delivering, and using the telephone.
· Able to lift and move up to 25 pounds occasionally.
MENTAL WORK DEMANDS AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
· Regular and on-time attendance.
· Hours not to exceed 40 hours per week.
· Participation in at least two extracurricular activities throughout the year: Christmas Program, Family Fellowship Nights, Spring Program, etc.
· Attend Briefings and Debriefings.
· Attend in-services and professional development meetings as deemed necessary by the Administration.
· Be an active participant at Crossroads Christian Church, attending weekend and weekday services weekly, in-person

· FLSA Status: Exempt
· Pay Grade: CCS Pay Grade 8
