RSI is seeking a Conversion Developer who has led large-scale data conversion efforts.
This individual will assist in leading the approach and tooling for data conversion and mapping, as well as guidance for related value streams, such as interfaces, configuration, and reporting. Software Engineers focus on developing multiple types/categories of software including end-user applications and operating systems/utility software, that provides a platform for running end user applications for sale to external customers. Conducting requirements gathering and analysis to understand the domain of the software problem and/or functionality, the interfaces between hardware and software, and the overall software characteristics.

RESPONSIBILITES WILL INCLUDE:
- Providing guidance to Delivery Teams for large scale data conversion initiatives.
- Providing conversion design and development for entities and accounts, financials, cases, images, and other miscellaneous data sources
- Working closely with Functional SMEs to establish conversion procedures that adhere to system configurations
- Establishing approach (templates, methods, standards, questionnaires, etc…) for Conversion activities
- Negotiating scope and creating creative solutions to meet functionality with limited change
- Providing design guidance/approach for the most complex decisions within Conversion
- Escalation point for design issues
- BS in Computer Science, MIS, Mathematics, Economics, or relevant experience
- Immediate authorization to work in the United States
- 3-5 years of relevant work experience on large-scale conversion projects
- 3+ years of relevant software design and development experience using? .NET, C#, SQL, Java
- Advanced SQL Skills
- Experience in ETL concepts and ETL tooling
- Experience with the full conversion lifecycle, including development of source/target mappings, business rules, transformation logic, error handling and control total reports
- Knowledge of standard development techniques (OOD, SDLC) in a web environment
- Strong analytical problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Customer-focused attitude and desire to interface directly with end-user clients
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:
- Familiarity with relevant mainframe technologies (COBOL, CICS, JCL) as well as newer technologies (ASP.NET, C#)
- Familiarity with Azure Dev Ops or JIRA
- Experience with large-scale public sector IT projects, especially for Revenue or Finance agencies
- Tax agency experience preferred.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

RSI determines pay range based upon numerous compensation factors, including experience, skill set, and geographic location. A current and reasonable estimated range for this position is $105,000 - $120,000.
