Build the machines that turn methane into energy.
At Qnergy, we design and build Free-Piston Stirling engines that convert wasted methane into reliable, clean power used around the world, from landfills to oil fields to remote industrial sites.
We’re looking for a Production Specialist who enjoys building things that actually matter. If you like working with your hands, solving mechanical problems, and being part of a team that ships real technology into the field, this is your kind of role.
You’ll work side-by-side with engineers, technicians, and production teammates to assemble and test the equipment that powers our global customers.

You will:
- Assemble mechanical, electrical, and electro-mechanical systems from engineering drawings.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to build products to specification.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and production equipment to complete assemblies.
- Assist with fabrication, testing, troubleshooting, and repair of Qnergy products.
- Support both prototype builds and production manufacturing.
- Perform quality checks and testing to ensure assemblies meet production standards.
- Maintain production records, logs, and inspection documentation.
- Perform basic equipment maintenance and identify issues early.
- Track inventory of tools, parts, and supplies and coordinate with materials when needed.
- Work closely with engineers, supervisors, and other production team members to improve processes.

The best people in this role are hands-on problem solvers who take pride in building quality equipment.
You likely bring:
- Mechanical aptitude and comfort working with tools and equipment.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and work instructions.
- Basic understanding of electrical or electronic components.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Ability to troubleshoot and solve assembly issues.
- Comfort working both independently and as part of a team.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, fabrication, or mechanical experience preferred.
- Experience reading technical drawings or schematics is a plus.
Work Environment:
- This is an active production floor role.
- Standing for extended periods while assembling products.
- Frequent use of hand tools and measuring instruments.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
