Creative - Photo and Video Manager
Description

Fun.com is looking to hire a Photo and Video Manager to lead our creative minds and endeavors!

Fun.com is a unique online retailer for many reasons. One reason is our love for everything nerdy, goofy and fun. Which includes, but does not stop at collectibles, Halloween costumes, and exclusive fandom apparel! It’s up to our creative services team to find creative ways to show off our products on our websites.

As a Photo and Video Manager in the Creative Services department you will perform administrative and supervisory functions to ensure effective operation of the Photo and Video Services team. Manage the team by organizing, and directing, the daily activities and workflow of employees. Guide, train, and evaluate team members; review and approve work; establish performance standards; conduct performance evaluations and other supervisory functions.

You will also provide support to ensure the Fun.com and HalloweenCostumes.com imagery, photoshoots and video fulfill internal customer requests and meet brand guidelines. Coordinate with the Creative Services Director on the use and updates to the workflow management system. Assist in the development of the Creative Services Department goals and objectives, specifically driving the integration of AI-driven workflows for photo and video. You will provide recommendations on emerging models and tools to automate repetitive tasks, allowing our team to 'fail fast forward', while ensuring all AI-generated content authentically captures the feeling of our Lifestyle and Product photography.

If you are an experienced manager who is passionate about planning, organizing, and directing the daily activities and workflow of employees engaged in photo and video services? Are you well-versed in motion graphics design, video, audio, photoshoot production, photo editing, and studio operations?
We are looking for a tech-forward leader who:

  • Embraces Visual AI: Is already comfortable utilizing AI for photo enhancement and experimenting with generative video models to keep our brand at the cutting edge.
  • Respects the Craft: Understands that while we love new tech, some things are still best done the old-fashioned way, from hand-crafting sets for our Lifestyle Images to capturing the perfect, authentic scream for a new animatronic.
  • Brings Animatronics to Life: Can oversee the production of high-quality audio and voice work for our exclusive products, ensuring they excite and inform our customers.
  • Stays Curious: Constantly stays up-to-date on new tools and models as they release to improve our shopping experience.

If you can balance technical innovation with a sincere passion for making Halloween happen across the globe, then you may just be the right fit for our Photo and Video Manager position!
