Description

We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain professional with a strong background in manufacturing and supply chain operations to support clients in optimizing and implementing ERP-driven processes. This role is ideal for professionals who have recently worked in a manufacturing environment as a manufacturing planner, supply chain professional, or frontline supervisor and bring hands-on ERP system experience.


The Supply Chain professional will work closely with client stakeholders to analyze business processes, translate operational needs into ERP solutions, and support system implementations or enhancements. The ideal candidate has a deep understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain planning functions, combined with strong analytical and communication skills.

  

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with clients to assess and improve manufacturing and supply chain processes using ERP solutions.
  • Support ERP implementations, enhancements, and optimization initiatives across manufacturing environments.
  • Translate operational requirements into ERP system configurations and business process improvements.
  • Provide expertise in demand planning, production planning, MRP, inventory control, procurement, and warehousing.
  • Analyze business workflows and identify opportunities for efficiency, automation, and improved data visibility.
  • Work with cross-functional stakeholders to align ERP capabilities with operational objectives.
  • Perform requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and user adoption activities.
  • Deliver clear documentation, training, and guidance to ensure successful system utilization.
  • Participate in client meetings and consulting engagements, both virtual and onsite.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and supply chain operations.
  • Hands-on experience working with ERP systems in manufacturing settings.
  • Experience in one or more of the following functional areas:  Inventory Control, Demand Planning, Production Planning, Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Procurement, Warehousing
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a consulting/professional services environment.
  • Team-oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
  • Distraction-free remote workspace with the ability to fully participate in virtual/video meetings.
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship (no sponsorship available).


Preferred Qualifications

  • APICS CPIM and/or CSCP certification.
  • Experience with Oracle JD Edwards ERP.
  • Exposure to workflow automation tools, such as low-code/no-code automation platforms.
  • Familiarity with AI-powered services or tools used to enhance business processes, analytics, or operational efficiency.
  • Prior experience working in ERP implementations, system optimization, or consulting engagements.


Ideal Candidate Profile

This role is particularly well suited for professionals who have:

  • Recent experience working as a manufacturing planner, production planner, supply chain analyst, or frontline manufacturing supervisor;
  • Strong operational knowledge of manufacturing and supply chain functions; 
  • Hands-on ERP system experience and an interest in moving into consulting.
