The Deli Clerk is responsible for providing excellent Guest service while preparing, packaging, and serving
deli products. This role ensures the deli department is clean, well-stocked, and operating in compliance
with food safety standards.
-Greet guests in a friendly and professional manner
-Take guest orders and prepare deli items such as sandwiches, salads, and hot foods
-Slice meats and cheeses to guest specifications using deli equipment
-Package, label, and price products accurately
-Maintain clean and sanitary work areas, including counters, equipment, and display cases
-Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines-Monitor product freshness and rotate stock (FIFO)
-Restock deli displays and supplies as needed
-Work collaboratively with team members and support other departments as needed.
-Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
