Graphic Designer (1099)
Description

HERE’S WHAT IT WILL TAKE TO GET THE JOB:

  • Design, review and generate conceptual and computer graphic designs using the Adobe Creative Cloud (i.e., Illustrator, Photoshop, In-Design, etc.) for a variety of projects, materials, and surfaces.
  • Work with client logos, create collateral, custom signage, and environmental graphics for multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Create proofs for inter-departmental use and client sign-off.
  • Cooperate with Project Managers and Creative team to ensure creative intent is followed.
  • Cooperate with Project Managers and external vendors to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Adhere to project file management on computer, cloud/local server and all storage media.
  • Participate in various planning, production and even client meetings to identify project objectives and concepts.
  • Understand materials, mediums and vendors needed to deliver the intended product for the project.
  • Comply with all department, and company safety guidelines and rules.
  • Assist from time to time in the installation of graphic vinyls, stencils, and other mediums on a project.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

BONUS ROUND!

  • Previous sign, print industry experience
  • Familiarity with After Effects, Cinema 4D, and Premiere is advantageous but not required
  • Experience in themed entertainment design, game design, or game art
Requirements
  • A college degree in Graphic Design (specifically BS or BFA).
  • Prior graphic design experience is required. Knowledge and proven experience with current creative and production software including Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design, etc.
  • Strong conceptual design skills and sense of style.
  • Excellent communications skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong ability to multi-task, pay attention to details, manage fluctuating priorities and work fast and efficiently.
  • Great attitude and team player.
  • Ability to tell a compelling story graphically and adhere to strict brand standards on behalf of clients.
  • Understanding of corporate brands, layout, color theory, typography (print and digital)
  • Strategic, creative thinking, ability to brainstorm.
  • Provide a graphic design portfolio
