Landon is seeking a qualified and motivated Athletic Trainer to provide parental leave coverage from August 14, 2026 through November 14, 2026. This is a temporary position with hours that vary based on athletic coverage needs, including practices and competitions. This position reports to the Head Athletic Trainer and the Athletics Director.
Responsibilities Include
- Providing athletic training services for assigned athletic teams, including injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation
- Covering practices and home athletic contests as scheduled
- Communicating effectively with coaches, student-athletes, parents/guardians, and medical professionals
- Maintaining accurate injury and treatment documentation
- Assisting with emergency action plans and return-to-play protocols
Schedule
- Hours will vary depending on coverage needs
Requirements
- Current certification by the Board of Certification (BOC)
- MD state licensure (or eligibility) as required
- CPR/AED and First Aid certification
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Experience in a secondary school or collegiate setting preferred, but not required
