Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Modern Infrastructure Senior Engineer / Architect to join our Professional Services team. This is a hands-on, execution-focused delivery role responsible for implementing enterprise private cloud environments built on Broadcom VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF 9) and Nutanix platforms.

You will work directly within customer environments to plan, deploy, validate, and operationalize infrastructure, ensuring a clean and structured handoff to customer teams.

This position is primarily focused on delivery execution and does not include pre-sales or primary solution design ownership. The ideal candidate thrives in real-world implementation scenarios—arriving prepared, adapting quickly, and consistently delivering within scope and on schedule—while also contributing technical insight back into partner and vendor alignment efforts.

Key Responsibilities

VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF 9)

• Execute  end-to-end VCF 9 deployments, including management and workload domain bring-up
• Configure and validate vSphere, vSAN, NSX, and SDDC Manager
• Perform lifecycle operations including patching, upgrades, and remediation
• Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues encountered during implementation

Nutanix

• Deploy and operationalize Nutanix clusters on AHV and/or ESXi-based platforms
• Perform cluster expansions, upgrades, and operational configuration
• Deliver implementations independently from initial engagement through customer handoff

General Delivery

Manage delivery within defined scopes of work, timelines, and customer expectations

• Produce clear, high-quality documentation and provide structured operational handoffs
• Communicate technical status, risks, and blockers effectively to project stakeholders
• Represent Professional Services with professionalism and strong technical credibility on-site

Vendor & Partner Alignment (Supporting Role)

• Provide technical support to the vendor management function for key partners, including Nutanix and VMware/Broadcom
• Act as a field feedback loop by sharing real-world deployment insights, challenges, and trends observed during customer engagements
• Support partner-related initiatives such as enablement alignment, technical validation, and escalation context when needed
• Participate in vendor touchpoints (as needed) to provide delivery perspective and strengthen technical relationships

Required Certifications

VMware Knight Certification

VCAP – VMware Cloud   Foundation v9

Nutanix Certified   Professional – MCI (NCP-MCI) or higher

Required Experience & Qualifications

• 5+ years of enterprise infrastructure implementation experience
• Proven hands-on experience deploying VMware Cloud Foundation in production environments
• Experience implementing Nutanix in production environments (AHV and/or ESXi)
• Strong operational knowledge of SDDC Manager, vSphere, vSAN, and NSX
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex issues across compute, storage, and networking layers
• Ability to deliver projects on time and within scope with minimal supervision
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for documentation and customer interaction
• Prior experience in a VAR, MSP, or Professional Services delivery environment preferred

Travel Requirement

This role requires travel to customer sites. Frequency and duration will vary based on project assignments. Candidates must be comfortable with regular domestic travel and occasional extended on-site engagements.
