$24.00-$27.00 -Starting wage based on experience

Seven Hills Veterinary Hospital is looking to add a part-time veterinary technician to our team for our weekend urgent care and wellness services. We would consider a full time position for the right candidate. 

About us: We are a large, 10 doctor, privately owned 24-hour general and emergency practice.  We have been AAHA-Accredited since 1986. Our practice is well-equipped; with full body and dental digital radiography, digital whiteboard, ultrasound, laparoscopy, and full monitoring equipment. Our progressive doctor team practices state of the art medicine, surgery and dentistry. Our doctors routinely perform both routine and emergency surgery, including orthopedics.  We partner with specialists and have weekly office hours for cardiology and ultrasound. We also have onsite partnerships with a board certified dentist, anesthesiologist, surgeon and oncologist. Our team has created a culture of camaraderie and mutual respect, with a dose of fun thrown in too. Most of our team members have been with us for years, and many are "lifers", having been here for 10, 20 or even 30+ years- no high turnover here! 

About you: You are confident in your skills, reliable, and able to shine both independently and with the team. You have great attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn. You love the fast pace of urgent care and helping sick and injured pets get better AND you love to snuggle a puppy during its first wellness appointment. Our team does it all!

Requirements

Physical Requirements:

• Capable of the following physical movements: standing, sitting, walking, stooping or kneeling, reaching with arms, talking and hearing
• Ability to lift or carry at least 40 pounds without assistance
• Vision close and normal, color vision and depth perception

Education and Experience Required:

• CVT or equivalent
• At least 2 years experience is preferred
