SUMMARY

Welch Packaging is seeking a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our team at the 4200 Industrial Blvd facility. This role is responsible for safely operating forklifts to move, locate, load, and unload materials within the warehouse and production areas. The ideal candidate will support efficient operations while maintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.

Welch is a family-owned company that fosters a supportive and team-oriented work environment where employees are treated like extended members of the family. There is a strong sense of loyalty, respect, and pride in our company’s values and long-term success.

Communication is more direct and approachable, with leadership accessible and actively involved in day-to-day operations. Employees experience greater recognition for their contributions, as individual efforts are more visible within this smaller organizational structure.

Our workplace culture is built on trust, stability, and a shared commitment to quality and customer relationships. We emphasize long-term growth over short-term gains, which create a more secure and consistent work atmosphere.

Our environment encourages teamwork and collaboration, with employees supporting one another to achieve common goals. There may also be opportunities for advancement and skill development, especially for individuals who demonstrate dedication and a strong work ethic.

With our smaller work environment, we do not retain or tolerate employees that are not a good fit for our culture, work unsafely, or have attendance issues. If any of these sound like you, we would not be a good fit. If you are tired of working with people like this, this is the place to apply.

We have a five-day work week schedule.

All machines are currently sit-down propane forklifts.

11 paid holidays per year.
