The Job:

As the Assistant Food & Beverage Manager, you will have the opportunity to create memorable experiences for our guests. This role is responsible for working with the F&B Management team on the oversight and supervision of all F&B outlets, including Adelaide Restaurant, Lyric, Living Room Bar, Pool Bar and In Room Dining. The Assistant Food & Beverage Manager works closely with the Culinary team to provide an exceptional experience for our guests. This is a highly visible leadership role in which you directly impact the guests visit and have the ability to create memories that will last a lifetime!

Responsibilities:

  • Support the management team in leading, mentoring, and developing a high-performing team, fostering a culture of service excellence, accountability, and collaboration.
  • Oversee daily outlet operations, ensuring seamless service delivery, adherence to luxury standards (LQA/Forbes), and a consistent, high-end guest experience.
  • Maintain a visible leadership presence on the floor, proactively resolving guest concerns and supporting the team during all service periods, including acting as Manager on Duty when required.
  • Drive financial performance by supporting revenue growth, managing labor and operational costs, assisting with forecasting, and ensuring effective inventory control.
  • Enhance guest satisfaction by monitoring feedback, implementing continuous improvements, and supporting innovative food and beverage initiatives that elevate the dining experience.
  • Ensure effective communication and operational alignment across departments, while supporting administrative functions such as scheduling, payroll accuracy, compliance, and reporting.
Requirements
  •   Excellent leadership abilities and the ability to manage many staff members
  • Great time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to deliver exceptional guest service, even in high pressure situations
  • Professional appearance and adherence to grooming standards
  • Flexible schedule availability, including evenings, weekends, irregular shifts, holidays, and extended shifts as business levels require
  • Maintain a current Food Handler Card, or be able to receive one upon hire
  • Maintain a valid California Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification, or be able to receive one upon hire
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods, up to 8 hours or more
  • Frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, reaching, and twisting
  • Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying temperatures
  • 2+ years’ experience in Food & Beverage Management

Salary Description
$72,000-73,500 annually
